Rooms, a jacuzzi cottage, a glamping lodge and a camping paddock — all set on a real Yorkshire animal sanctuary rescue and farm stay, home to 80 rescued animals. Come and stay with the herd and flocks.
Just 6 miles from York, in the rural and quiet farming village of Huby, Inglenook is one of the quirkiest and most private animal sanctuary rescues and farm stays in Yorkshire.
Available for your short stay break:
What makes Inglenook different is who else lives here: around 80 rescued animals, from horses and donkeys to pygmy goats, sheep, our dog and cat, bunnies, guinea pigs, tortoises, quail, ducks and ducklings, chickens and chicks — and yes, a dinosaur. Guests are welcome to wander the grounds under supervision, say hello to the residents, and help with feeding time.

"We stayed in the Chicken Cottage with the jacuzzi and honestly didn't want to leave. The kids spent the whole weekend with the donkeys."
"Booked the whole of Campra Air Camping Paddock for a family reunion — eight vans, fifty of us, and somehow still room to breathe. Unreal setting."
"The glamping lodge was perfect for our family of five, and meeting the animals each morning made it feel like nowhere else we'd stayed."
